The disk brake tab turned out decent. I used the fork mount in the back and it was a perfect fit. 12 braze on parts to go and I'll be done, minus paint. |

The frame welding is done
This area gave me fits. Trying to get the torch between and up under the stays while seeing what I was doing proved to be very difficult. |
This is where I want to mount the brake but even with the bracket touching the seat stay the brake pads don't sit down far enough onto the disk. |
I'll probably end up mounting the brake on the seat stay and adding a reinforcing tube bridging the stays. |

Chain stays - part 2
I was a bit nervous about welding the dropouts but it went well and I'm pretty happy with the results |
At this point the bottom bracket end is only tacked. Don't look too close, you'll see the hole I burned in the stay. One second of inattention. It should be an easy fix when I finish the welding. |
The rear wheel is centered good, the angles came out to plan; so far so good. |

Chain stay mitering.
Mitering the chain stays was a slow process. Unlike the main tubes, I didn't have templates to wrap around the tubes. File, check the fit, repeat.
